Linda Fellows As a printmaker and mixed-media artist, Linda Fellows focuses on the process of creating, challenging common ways of looking at imagery by breaking it down into simpler forms or repetitive patterns and reworking the same image in many different ways. Using varying cuts and materials such as Asian papers, water colors and metallic powders, Fellows emphasizes texture in her work. Trees—especially winter trees—hold a particular fascination because of their intricate patterns, cast shadows and symbolic representation of longevity. Fellows’s landscapes have been included in several group and gallery exhibitions, including The Corcoran School of Art, Montgomery College, The Hartford Art School, The Connecticut Women’s Art Exhibition, Skidmore College, and The Sue and Eugene Mercy Jr. Gallery. In Connecticut, Fellows is represented by Art and Soul Gallery in Windsor and Master Framers Gallery in Bloomfield.
