ARTIST STATEMENT

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the Hartford Art School. My primary interests are in landscape painting and still life. Connecticut Tobacco sheds are among my favorite subjects because of their symmetry and the way they sit on the landscape. I enjoy both representational and abstract painting but find abstract to be much more challenging.
